Sparring Program

Our Sparring Program develops confidence, timing, distance control, and tactical awareness through structured partner training. Students learn both Olympic-style sparring and traditional sparring concepts while building practical self-defence skills in a safe and supervised environment. For WCTA students, Sparring training is mandatory from Green Belt onwards as part of their overall Taekwondo development.

Competition Team
By Selection Only

Competition Team

Our Competition Team is designed for dedicated athletes who are committed to training and competing at a higher level. Students receive advanced coaching in poomsae and sparring, with a strong focus on technical development, competition strategy, physical conditioning, and performance preparation. Entry into the Competition Team is by coach selection only and is not open to all students. Athletes are expected to demonstrate commitment, discipline, and a positive training attitude both inside and outside the dojang. Competition Team training sessions are 2 hours or longer, providing athletes with the time and intensity required to prepare for national and international competitions.
